I created this page in response to a number of inquiries (and complaints) about the new, higher prices.

This year has been a tough year for firewood. The supply coming from the north, primarily Maine, has been very short. This was all due to a very snowy winter last year and subsequent wet spring that didn't allow the loggers to get into the woods until the beginning of June. These conditions have created a huge shortage in the supply that usually comes down to this area. Many big, BIG suppliers that I have used in the past have been sold out for a few months already! It is very hard to find new suppliers this time of year, especially when I am very particular about the quality of our wood. I seriously want only the best firewood for my customers!

TinderPro has not raised it's prices in the first 4 years we've been in business, and we are pretty proud of that. The new prices reflect the new prices that we have to pay to bring top quality firewood to the Boston area. We are 100% committed to reasonable prices, and I think that you will find that our prices are still lower than our competitors when you add their delivery fee.
